- I can't remember the year I met Amy, but I know it was
February between 1988 and 1991. I met her on a Royal Viking ship on the
way to Fiji. Can't tell you the exact circumstances of our meeting. What
I remember is how we hit it off so well - as if we'd been friends
forever. She was (and is) so comfortable, easy and so interested in
people and life. She was so warm and always had a quick smile (lovely one,
too). And always, always, ready to listen to whatever you wanted to
share. Someone you just wanted to spend time with. Although we've been in
contact through mail and email over the years, I haven't seen or spoken to
her since that cruise, yet I know that when we are eventually in the same
place at the same time, it will be as if no time has passed. She is just
that kind of wonderful person.
